Second (?) level to the rescue! [Great techs can save the day...]

I've been keeping very busy throughout March.  While I haven't been as consistent with my goals as I would have liked, I find that's almost always the case when you set them.  Since I still have a few days left, I'm hoping that I'll be improving on my averages (such as 80% of the time having lunch made).  Or in this case, my goal for generating more content for my site.

But one of the things that's been holding me back this month has been that our internet has been flaky.  And I've lived with it and focused my efforts on other things than being offline, but it's been annoying none the less.  And this morning it finally failed and would stay broken, so I got to run the xplornet support gauntlet.  As someone that's had to call every major ISP in North America, and many overseas, this is always an adventure the first time.

And even though I had a less-than-ideal start, I'd like to say that I ended up getting amazing second level help from the folks at xplornet today.  They managed to solve my issue quicker and in a way that was beyond my expectations going in.  Since I think that too many people take time to complain on their blogs (and using the stick), I thought I'd complement (using the carrot) the folks that I've had to deal with so far.  Yes if you're a major geek it might be hard getting through first level (isn't it always?) but it's nice to know you're in good hands once they're sure that turning it on and off again won't work.

As one final note and in the spirit of using the stick more than the carrot, I had amazing initial installation and support from digital city in Kemptville as well.

Now let's hope that xplornet's 4g network gets here soon!
